ETH links#4

Please visit https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases
and download the latest version for your OS

This is highly recommended since using real ETH without some familiarity of the processes and systems can easily result in data / financial loss from operator or computer error.

After you have installed Mist, obtained some test Ether you can transfer tETH between account and wallets and see these transactions appear on https://testnet.etherscan.io/

Ethereum Foundation - a brave new world

Ethereum is developed by a worldwide team of passionate developers for the Ethereum Foundation, a Swiss nonprofit organization.

Mission and Vision Statement

The Ethereum Foundation’s mission is to promote and support research, development and education to bring decentralized protocols and tools to the world that empower developers to produce next generation decentralized applications (dapps), and together build a more globally accessible, more free and more trustworthy Internet.

What is the Big Deal

Ethereum is a decentralized platform that runs smart contracts: applications that run exactly as programmed without any possibility of downtime, censorship, fraud or third party interference.

"The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think

things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos."

~H. L. Mencken
